NONO COMMUNITY

Perched in the hummingbird Route, this place offers wonderful experiences in the cloud forest. Visit the local embroider atelier or learn with local guides about medicinal plants; explore walking paths in the forest reserves, horseback riding, biking, or birdwatching.

Day 1:

Arrival on your to Nono Village. (Please contact us for transportation prices). The first day gives you the opportunity to explore the surrounding gardens of Villa Doris. Dinner is served at Tierras del Fuego restaurant where you will be delighted by an explosion of flavors and smells of our land. Overnight.

Day 2:

You can contribute to the development of the local communities and their Projects, this day you will visit Yunguilla Community and learn about their community activities, posibility to hike along the ancient “culuncos” trails used  by the Yumbos. Lunch with a magnificent view of the cloud forest. In the afternoon visit to the artisanal confitures workshop.

Dinner and Overnight

Day 3:

After a delicious breakfast. Visit to Sisa Quinde the local women embroidery project. Through their embroidery, they weave their dreams and sew their hopes for a better future for themselves and their beloved ones. The women of Sisa Quinde create table runners, tablecloths, mats, cushions and purses that come in a variety of colors and designs, all expressing the festivity of life in the cloud forest.
